Our History
Since its establishing in the Nickel Capital of the world (Sudbury, Ontario) in 1995, SSI- Sonmar Security Inc. has been a leader in business security, camera surveillance, and all low voltage electronics. From our revolutionary control panels, to our industry-leading IP alarm systems and now our High Definition IP camera surveillance, SSI has always been front and center in the security field.
SSI flourished in the community through developing a reputation for providing excellent customer service. We did this through the acquisition of many well‐known and highly frequented businesses’, such as The New Sudbury Shopping Center, Tim Hortons, The Canadian Revenue Agency and the Sudbury Catholic School Board. In time, SSI needed to expand to meet the new demand for the brand, and hired more technicians, administrative staff and added locksmith services to our expanding business.
